How are you spending your time at home? Sophomore Marge made these Ukranian eggs (pysanky) during Lent in preparation for Easter. They are decorated by drawing on the egg with hot wax and then dying them in various colors. The wax preserves the color of the egg underneath, and through this technique you can make intricate designs in many colors, working light to dark. At the end, all the wax is melted off to reveal the colors underneath.
