The Greenlawn Mansion was transformed into Toad Hall yesterday for a literary feast based on The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame. Having read the book as part of the curriculum, seventh graders were inspired to sit down to a meal worthy of Toad and his feast-loving friends. The program included live music and poetry readings by students, lots of toasts, and a respectable variety of pickles. Many thanks to our parent volunteers who served and provided the delicious food!
