Today we celebrated Pi Day! Pi is an irrational number, so in its decimal form it never repeats and never ends. Students recited as many digits as they could. Veronica Drake (6th Grade) came in first place after reciting 146 digits. James Doran (7th Grade) came in second place with 118 digits. Dave Lawrence (9th Grade) took third with 101 digits. Winners enjoyed homemade pies courtesy of Mr. Lippincott who also oversaw the competition.
