We offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities. We make every effort to schedule sports practices and games to avoid conflict with the music groups, allowing students to participate in both.

Mock Trial

Mock Trial enhances the critical reading and thinking skills that are already well-developed in our classes, especially in the Humane Letters Seminars. Over the years, Greenlawn students have won numerous Best Attorney and Best Witness awards. Mock Trial teams have qualified for the state competition every year. For the last two years, Trinity teams have won first place in the state and gone on to represent Indiana in the National Mock Trial competition.

Chamber Choir

This choir, for serious and skilled singers, has a well-balanced, mature and high-level choral sound. They have shared performances with the Notre Dame Chorale at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center at Notre Dame and have traveled to Minnesota for concert performances in collaboration with the River Ridge campus. The Chamber Choir is open by audition only.

Sports

Trinity School offers a number of sports for both boys and girls. For more information see our athletics page.

Science Research Initiative

Juniors and seniors can apply to work regularly on original research with science professors and graduate students from Notre Dame or Saint Mary’s. Many student participants go on to present their research at regional and State science fairs.

Student Clubs

Student-initiated clubs are a significant feature of extracurricular life at Trinity School. Consistent with our philosophy of education that places students at the center of their own learning, anyone at Trinity School can get a group of students together to study, discuss, create or enjoy some co-curricular topic. Don’t see something you think you would enjoy? Consider starting a club of your own!

Current clubs for the 2023-2024 school year include: Robotics, Recycling, Drama, Yearbook, Volunteer Club, Varsitas (Latin Club), Trinity Review, Trinity Life (aka, “Life Co”), Inklings, Film Club, and Volleyball.

“Trinity is a place where you’re free to try a lot of things and be a lot of things. I had the chance to play sports without having to join the jock culture. I sang in choir without being a music nerd. I got to act in plays without becoming a ‘drama kid.’ I just got to be Joe. I felt known and loved at Trinity.”
