At Trinity School, we’re dedicated to providing the best junior high and high-school education in Michiana. Our love for learning spills over into our summer camps and free winter enrichment programs where younger students have the opportunity to sample what life at Trinity is like. We invite children from the Michiana area to participate!
Winter Enrichment Camps 2024
Register now for 2024 Winter Enrichment Camps. Camp sessions are open to all children in grades 4-6. There is no fee to attend a session, but spots are limited, and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Register through the online forms linked below, and share this opportunity with family and friends.
Art Camp: Experimental Printmaking
February 3 | February 10
10:00 a.m. — noon
Come explore the artistic elements through an experimental printmaking workshop with Trinity faculty member Mrs. Greene. Campers will rotate through a number of printmaking stations and use everyday household items to create a variety of abstract works. The stations will expose campers to multiple mediums including acrylic paint, watercolor, and India ink. Participants will discuss the basic principles of design and review inspiring masterworks along the way. Dress to get messy, just in case!
History Camp: Seafaring Codes
March 2 | March 9
10:00 a.m. — noon
Pack your seabags and come explore the history of nautical signals! Through building Semaphore signals and communicating with teammates, campers will learn the basics of early nautical communication and put skills into practice in real time. Campers will also learn about older forms of nautical communication and code, including its uses in safety, navigation, and warfare, and about how sailors still communicate today.
