Mrs. Cassady gave juniors a refresher today on COLOR in preparation for their next fine arts piece, which will be done in watercolor. This involved an in-depth discussion of the color wheel, a demonstration of color mixing with watercolors, and a quick foray outdoors to analyze the complex color variations in a cloudless blue sky, some nearby trees, and [not pictured] the dumpsters in the alleyway. We can’t wait to see what our juniors create!
