Congratulations to faculty member Dr. Pat Mooney, the recipient of the Father Don McNeill Award for Recognition of Human Dignity, awarded by the Notre Dame Center for Social Concerns. This award recognizes Dr. Mooney's sensitivity to individual students in creating particle physics coding activities in MATLAB, C++ and ROOT. Dr. Mooney has guided high school students at the Notre Dame QuarkNet Center and at Notre Dame's International Summer Particle Physics Institute through these activities.
